I returned to the Distillery of Modern Art for Momocon’s Cosplay Drink & Draw earlier this month. It was $25 to register online and included a drink from the bar. I really enjoyed the last one so when I saw their Instagram post promoting it I signed up right away!
I ordered a Golden Milk, made of coconut milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and honey. The Distillery of Modern Art’s menu includes a huge variety of craft cocktails and mocktails.
Our cosplayers for the night were Jack Sparrow and Dr. Strange. I loved studying the cloth fold details on both of them. They did 20 minute poses and would rotate with each other so everyone around the room could draw them.
I finally got those shoes in!
It’s so much fun to study clothed models! I’m hoping I can keep coming to these Cosplay Drink and Draw events.
